When had her definition of 'fine' become 'gravity is working'? She rubbed pencil stained fingers over her temple, the pencil held lightly between her teeth while she read.
Since Neville had demonstrated that magic was in fact real, and not simply sleight of hand and illusions as she'd assumed she'd been reading everything she could on that subject and physics.
It was a simple conclusion, she couldn't trust physics anymore. She was disconcerted and confused and frankly if magic existed in the face of physics then... what other immutable laws were all WRONG? She could go flying off the face of the earth because what if gravity stops working if she stops believing in it?
Gravity was working though, and despite that she'd taken precautions against it suddenly ceasing to function as she understood it and had used the baby sling Zoe had given her for Maya to lash herself to a tree in the park. Books and papers were scattered around her as she wrote with both hands in different languages, leaning awkwardly from her makeshift tree sling.
There were certain things that were supposed to be unchanging. Logical things. RULES. Rules were important.
But she didn't know what was true anymore.
[ooc: Slow time is love - see my OOC post - but she was strapping herself to things in my head and this seemed appropriate.]
