On a quest of her own [ota]

The narrow, barren path from the farm gave way to the more open and populated streets of the village. It was here that Gorgo moved with a leisurely gait while on a quest for fine fragrant oils she wished to acquire to tend to Maximus. Perhaps she would purchase a few other things, if anything else managed to catch her eye ( Read more... )

I've come to terms with much of the modern clothing and how much it can reveal. The garb of the woman in front of me is not modern at all... Not everyone dresses as modestly as we do. Even now my shirt comes to my wrists and buttons to my neck.

I do not know the lady, but she has a fine glow about her. Healthy, certainly, and spends much time out of doors. I nod my head in a greeting.

"My lady."

They would have to meet eventually. Faramir has more clothes than Dilios, fo' sho'.

"I can bring some, if you do not think he would be offended. I prefer to be busy and I enjoy the out-of-doors. At home I am captain of the rangers of a land called Ithilien. That is the Land of the Moon. Thus the Lady Artemis has favoured me with locations for things not previously known." It is an honour. "As a hunter from moon-lands, she considers me hers. Perhaps I would be if I were from Earth."

I am already making a mental list of what I could bring.

"I shall speak to Maximus. If there is need for any of these that grow wild, then it should be something the store should have." He smile on him was warm. "My gratitude is yours, Captain. We appreciate that you think to share this knowledge with us."

The more she spoke with Faramir, the more Gorgo could hear the difference with Dilios. This was, she thought in confirmation, a different man.

"Such things should be shared--they belong to all." That is how I think on it.

"I should not keep you. I consider this a fortuitous meeting, Your Majesty. It is very good to meet you." Though she is not far along, she may well be tired with the start of carrying her child.

"As it was a pleasure to meet you, Captain Lord Faramir. I shall tell my husband of this meeting." She gave him a warm smile.

"Perhaps we shall see you at the farm soon." She gave the man who was not Dilios a respectful nod.

"Be well."

"You as well, and all of yours." I should be at the farm fairly soon.

Gorgo watched Faramir aboutFaramir brows slightly draw because his resemblance to Dilios. Was irrefutable.

This meeting she would definitely need to speak of with Maximus.
