The Doctor, surprisingly, was in one single spot today. Instead of rushing around the village gathering readings from new arrivals, stealthily avoiding both his future incarnation and his daughter, attempting (with surprising success) to stop keeping tabs on Nyssa, and wrestling with some TARDIS preventive maintenance, he was checking on the telescopes in the Observatory. One had a minor blip of a malfunction last night, though he managed to set things right without too much hassle, and without too many complaints from patrons. Still, he was determined to fix the telescope before the nightly viewing of various celestial bodies.

Angela sat in the BODIES exhibit with her ever-present sketchbook in her lap and a look of precise concentration on her face. The figures stripped bare of their skin were kinda oogy, but then again she built up her career at the Jeffersonian thanks to oogy. She was sketching out the facial structures of the group of four male figures posed to resemble poker players, intending to slowly build the muscles outwards into skin. She'd figure out who these guys used to be.

After the events of the past weekend, Mickey needed to clear his head. So he wandered into the Museum to check if they had something every normal boy growing up would be interested in: Dinosaurs. When traveling with the Doctor, one time period he really wished to visit, and he ought to have made a request when he had a bloody chance, was the Jurassic era. Dinosaurs! Not in some stupid movie but real-life, close-up, stinking (probably) dinosaurs! He was mad for them once, and he thought he'd outgrown it until he stepped into the wing and set eyes on all the skeletons. Wouldn't it be brilliant if they'd just started moving? Ugh, he thought silently. No, it wouldn't. Those same travels with the Doctor taught him to be careful of what he wished for.

Shawn made a bee-line for the interactive exhibits, bounding around like a kid on a Kool-Aid and pixie stick bender. Without much prompting (and without reading the directions on the side of each exhibit), he started pushing buttons, pulling levers, and poking at things meant to be poked at. He stopped his wandering once he reached the Shadow Trap and was currently posing in various Voguing positions before his shadow got captured.
