Spock wasn't particularly a sociable animal. He normally confined his interaction with people to chess matches with the captain and impromptu discussions (the casual observer might interpret them as arguments) with McCoy. But for the sake of discovery and investigation, he supposed he should get out of the room that he had finally settled into. He would have to get in contact with Dr. McCoy and Lt. Uhura and touch base with them at some point, anyway. They were still his crew, and as commanding officer they were his responsibility.
Dressed in an average, white button up shirt and a pair of gray slacks that were available in his room, he had forgone the formality of a uniform so that he could avoid attracting more attention than necessary. Tricorder strap slung over his shoulder, he wandered out to have a look around.
