Dual Pup Post (OTA)
There were people in the village that Cameron needed to watch. This new future-robot John had told her of, and the girl - Elizabeth. She was not to hurt either of them, that she knew. But they needed more information. Without information they were vulnerable.
Cameron sat at a table outside of the cafe, a cup of coffee and danish untouched in front of her. She watched those going by, but for now her attention was on a bird. The bird had landed on the other side of the table, hopping closer and closer to Cameron's food.
"You should not come so close to people, little bird," she said quietly, head cocked as she watched it. The bird froze and looked at her, after a moment hopping closer to the danish and pecking at it. "It might not be safe for you here," she said, scooping it up. She would take it to the park, with the danish. That would be better for it.
Safer.

Ros had routines here, something she abhorred. The gym when she woke, at whatever hour it was. Jogging in the morning, buying herself coffee and making herself breakfast. Classes, and prep for those. Time at the bookstore, or cafe, or firing range. Trying to not be bored, or to think on how they were stuck here.
Stuck. A word she abhorred as well. It made her feel helpless. Ros didn't do very well at being helpless.
The cafe was busy as always, her coffee good, as always. The book she read wasn't very entertaining, actually. Actually, she didn't even know what she was reading, only that it was like everything else abut this place, and boring.
Ros needed something to change.
