Rogue had been hiding out in Logan's room for a week now. After draining Sam, it had stirred up the Spock in her head, as well as everyone else. She fast realised that her mind was becoming a crowded space. It was hard enough to process her own thoughts and feelings without adding everyone else. Then there was the fact that most of them were boys, or men.
That might have said something about the woman, if Rogue knew that only two of them could be put down to anything romantic, or sexual. Even Sam's touch hadn't been anything seductive. It was him trying to comfort her by taking her hand, and her skin had ruined the moment. She'd been so stupid to not put her gloves on, but she really hadn't been expecting him to try and touch her. Most times she drained someone, whoever she'd been with had stayed well away waiting for her to be 'normal'.
Rogue figured she'd lost her level of normality a while ago. No normal person could drain people with a touch, or wind up with fragments of their psyche floating around in their head. She kept walking through the streets, only stopping when she reached the park. She just wanted some space, anything that wasn't the four walls of Logan's room, or her room.
Going to the park was as close to running as she was going to get in a village that didn't let you leave.
[Beware emo!Rogue, and slowtime. Just wanted to get this up while I was thinking of it.]
