Ten Forward, from what Data and Jean-Luc had said, was an appropriate location for a gathering. If she were being honest, Uhura was curious to see what Kirk and Picard would make of each other, let alone what she would make of the officers of the future.
Still, it was a time for relaxing. The drink and food was far better than on their Enterprise, and it was definitely to be partaken of. Now it was just a case of waiting to see who turned up.
