Why Keep Your Distance? (Tag Winchesters, Bobby)
Sam had been waiting to take Lilith down from the moment he knew she existed. Of course, it was a bit harder when he didn't exactly know what she was capable of or what her past with him and Dean was. That's what he went home for though. He figured all the time he had spent just sitting around after coming back was just sort of generous on his part; Lilith really should have known better than to touch Ruby when Sam was being so nice.
Obviously, with an injured Ruby resting up in his room, Sam was instantly finished with the idea of taking his time to hunt her down. Now, she was going down the first time he saw her if he could manage it.
The only problem was that he knew she was hiding from him. When he didn't know anything the first time around, she loved to sneak up on him, but he hadn't seen her once this time. Thinking it over a couple times, Sam realized he needed help. Regardless of how much he didn't want to ask for it from fear of possibly having to explain himself, he had sent out a message to his entire family, even Bobby asking for help.
Now, he was standing at the foot of his parents' door, knocking and hoping they wouldn't ask why they couldn't all just meet up in Sam's room.
