A Few Oddities [Tag Aliens]
It was important for David to meet others possibly like him, or at least see that being an alien wasn't quite the detriment he thought it would be. He could still interact with humans perfectly well, he would just need to learn how.
Spock held David's hand lightly to give him a bit of atypical comfort as he headed from the hotel toward the observatory, making a mental note to stop by the various places where extraterrestrials happened to be (other than at the casino, that is).
It was a nice day outside, but David was unsure of this idea. If he was an alien, it would be very challenging. Of course, he wasn't adverse to meeting new village residents, it was just that he was ... it took him a moment to put a name to it. Anxious. It was very nice that Spock was holding his hand.
