At last [OTA]
Romana had been very worried about the Doctor, both versions of him. Though more worried about the one that thought he was human and the one that seemed to have disappeared from the village. She did what she usually did in those times, throw herself into doing something that she could control. Like making K-9. With the help of Dr. Amir as well as the Ninth incarnation (before he'd gone swanning off), Romana had finally completed him. K-9 was now new and improved with Dr. Amir's assistance in that matter.
Today would be his debut out in the village. Romana would need to calculate exactly how he reacted to others and his environment but it should be the same old K-9. Perhaps she would see Mr. Spock on their journeys so that she could thank him for keeping an eye on 'John Smith' for her. She'd felt a little better knowing that the companions, the other versions of the Doctor and Spock were making sure that he was all right.
She pushed open the doors of the hotel and took a look around. "Where to K-9? This is your choice."
A metallic, tin voice sounded from the robotic dog. "Outside temperature is a cool 57, Mistress. The atmospheric pressure indicates 10% likelihood of rain."
Romana had a humorous tone as she spoke. "Yes, that's very lovely, K-9 but which direction would you like to go? Left or right?"
"I believe left, Mistress. Toward the park."
"Excellent choice. Shall we?"
