The thing I like most about your writing is that it's very thoughtful. It seems that you look deep into your characters for why they do and feel the things they do, and it adds richness to your stories. We care for the characters ( ... )

Accent may be the wrong word. I just mean that there are a few things that German (or French, Spanish, Chinese,...) people sometimes do: the order they use for certain words, or a phrase that is correct, but not what a native speaker would say or write. You can probably tell German that has been written by someone who isn't German.
Example: you wrote i consider myself actually quite good when it comes to speak and understand and even write english, and an English speaker would be more likely to write i actually consider myself quite good when it comes to speaking and understanding and even writing English. Why? It's as hard to explain as why one says machen die Tur zu instead of machen die Tur an... It's just the way it is. :-)
With saying things without saying them in mind, here's something you might like to think about. Imagine writing this story again, but so that Harry never tells what he feels about Dougie - maybe he doesn't realise, or maybe he doesn't want to admit it - yet it's so obvious that the reader ( ... )

What would you need to do differently? Might be fun to try that, sometime.you know what? that is a kick arse idea! i think i'll really try it. not with this story tho, with a completely new one or something ( ... )
