Aw, this is so adorable. Makes me go all warm and fuzzy. :) I especially loved how you described the way the bond between Danny and Dougie develops from Dougie's first day at the boarding school to Danny leaving for the summer, and then end it with such a wonderful confession, because it fits perfectly.
