"Film is a powerful medium. In the right hands, it has the capacity to tell stories that can easily change hearts and minds."

Oh yes, definitely. Marshall/Lionel are such a wonderful couple, and we need more people to see that. I was so glad to discover them as I haven't seen a relationship like theirs before.
I still don't get why EW didn't include them, but I guess we'll have to wait until around March when the promos start to come out. They're probably going to be a big deal. I'm quite certain their relationship is going to be portrayed more explicitly as it is in fact in Showtime, unlike the other shows... I'm really looking forward to that to be honest.

This is marvellous. Btw, if you want to see some moar not exactly typical gays on tv I'd recommend you checking out this pairing. They're from a German TV show I stumbled upon by accident and ughghg (I just like the drama ok? *g*).

(One of the guys, Christian, is bisexual but he doesn't realise it. Then Olli shows up and is openly gay, and Christian's behaviour changes, until the moment they fight and Olli kisses Christian. Epic relationship ensues <33333 involving Christian finding it very difficult to come out because he's a prof boxer and he's always been straight.)

OH OH OH AND WATCH THESE VIDS TOO:

GREY'S ANATOMY GAY SOLDIERS (though, I'll warn you - once again - for the drama... it's so sad :( )

And a skit from the Catherine Tate Show, where the parents have obviously never seen any of the linked vids here before.
