One of the more frustrating things about shipping Kurt & Blaine has been the tendency for the writers to choose songs that could be totally ship enhancing songs, but the characters never really sang them in context. Nonetheless, I think sub-textually, these songs were chosen for a reason. There are plenty of songs that could have been chosen, but

This is fantastic!! And actually, when I was watching OS the first time, I made the comment that Blaine was singing what could have been Kurt's anthem for the last couple weeks [Misery], noting an entirely different set of the lyrics: "why do you do what you do to me, do to me? why won't you answer me, answer me?" etc. It's interesting seeing people's different reactions to the songs, but I completely agree, the songs were chosen specifically for a reason (except for Bills, Bills, Bills, which remains my least favorite Warbler cover).
