that's about how I felt when I found out my favourite czech band was changing the band members. It just won't be the same without the former frontman. They might as well ended it all as far as I'm concerned.
Man I've really fucking lost it over here. This band has been a HUGE PART OF MY LIFE for 10 years. TEN YEARS. My favorite band for 10 years. Since I was 12 years old. I'm just... gutted.
But people on twitter are saying things that remind me what all MCR did. What they did was revolutionize the industry. Revolutionize a generation. MCR is forever because of what all they did for us. WE are proof that MCR is forever.
Man if you could see my twitter feed. It broke pretty much to everybody at once and it's all thats on there. People went from shock to pain to now the painful acceptance that MCR IS still forever because MCR helped make so many of ius who we are and THAT is forever.
Basially all of the tears are shed and now people are trying to understand what to do next....
Or in my case putting th epain into working out (my usual time is about now) and finding it is difficult to dance (my workout) while sobbing.
*hugs back* thanks, I need it. we all do. Roughest night since like... hell, the night Rev died 0_o WOW I know thats a bad comparrison, a dude dying and a band breaking up, but it's that kind of pain the fans are feeling man.
Oh God, man. They've been a band for 12 years. For about the past 10 years they've been my favorite band. They were such a huge part of so many people's lives so it does feel like a death. It's also so SUDDEN! Like, if it had happened during their long hiatus we'd get it. But just days ago Gerard had mentioned something about 'six new songs' and shit so we were all TOTALLY unprepared.
*hugs* This is really sad, terrible news. I had a friend on-line who adored the band and she introduced me to them a few years ago and I've loved their music.
