I'm pretty sure I talked to my dad on the phone yesterday and all he was interested in was whether Stu was going over there for Thanksgiving. He asked if "[I was] coming" but said nothing about, "I'd like you to be there... you should come... you're invited." Then when I said "I love you"... nothin'. My mom says he didn't hear me but I'm getting ( Read more... )

Your mom probably keeps the thermostat down so the bill isn't amazingly high. I figured that one out the hard way. But the thing is, silly one, when you turn on the gas stove in stead, it cost like 4 times as much. So, I suggest you get a small heater for your room, they're like 10 bucks at walgreens or target. Seriously, they work. I love them. Remember how my house is an icicle in winter becuase we don't have heaters? That's why I got a heater. Unfortunately, I didn't figure that one out until I was 17.

They really just like it cold. My mom and Lacey (Brandons girlfriend) walk around talking about how they're SO hot... when it's 40' outside, and 72' in the house. Then Brandon likes it colder too, just not as cold as them. I think Stu is too busy playing games to notice. You know how pushing buttons can keep you toasty. Anyway... they all talk about it, not just my mom because of paying bills. She walks in the house, when no one has touched the thermostat, (even though I've been dying too all day) and the stove hasn't been running, and says, "why is it so hot in here?" Not, "yay, warmth when I've been outside." {why does it feel like hell in this house?} And before when I'd turn it up and I was all alone in wanting to be warm, she'd laugh... so maybe I should just move to cuba... or hell

boil water on that stove holmes...thats an old hood rich trick whenever your heater is broken. Just boil a big ole pot of water and the steam will warm up the house a bit. I guess theres still that risk of asploding though.

And I can't believe that movie scared you lol. You really are a pansy. ;) jk. But Saw is better, you should check it out.

I think I'll try that next time... maybe throw in some hot-dogs too. Maybe an egg...

"Saw is better" as in... scarier? because I'm pretty sure The Grudge freaked me out enough that I would wash my hair SO fast in the shower... and tuck in the end of my covers. (promise I'm getting better)

Hehe, I didn't really think it was scary. It's more of a suspense horror then just the "boogey boogey" kind. The only thing really scary about it is its KINDA creepy. But in a good way. One scene in particular, but I wont ruin it. It's one of those ones that makes you think.
(of course there are a lot of those kinds of movies that aren't horror at all, Donnie Darko, Vanilla Sky etc.)
