i live in america, and i know what you're talking about.

i think its ridiculous. she should be locked up for life, if not in prison or whatnot, then a mental hospital.

they can't really think that she is ready to properly function in society now.

I don't think Karla Homolka (or whatever the fuck she changed her name to) should've gotten off with 12 years instead of life, either, but that's the Canadian justice system and plea bargaining for you.
I guess the good news is that they've got her under pretty tight surveillance. Not to mention, I think someone's going to try to kill her before she has the chance to murder anyone else.
