Leah,
This year has been interesting enough. For me, it's my last ever. For you, it's just beginning. I hope that you had as much fun as I did...and throughout the pain, heartache, confusion, frustration, and anger, the memories are priceless and the love acquired more than worthwhile. When I first sorta met you last year (you were just some chick on the XC team to me then), you came off as a wild, untamed and strange young woman. That's not a bad thing, mind you, but I just didn't know you. Now I know that you are all those things and more: a beautiful person with immeasurable potential, passion, and kindness. Stay like that, this world needs more of it.
Have a great summer and make the most out of high school and life...have no regrets...I know I have some, and they hurt to think about, but in the long run they just make us grow more and know ourselves. Keep in touch.
love,
Yifan

Thanks Yifan!
"a wild, untamed and strange young woman." Yeah that's me I guess!
When ever I remember that you're just a few months older than me instead of years I have to stop and wonder how crazy your life must be. All the responsibilities, the awards, the artwork(Mrs.Norton showed me your peice on child violence in Asia a few days ago, I thought I was really nice!) I know I wouldn't be ready to go to get through highschool and start college so early.
I think you are a strong and independant woman that is a rollmodel to all girls.
And I love you tooo Yifan!

P.S.I'll catch you on the beach this summer!

Hahaha, I did that for senior year. I didn't give a shit about what anyone had to say, even if they were friends.
