Ugh the research paper is hands down the worst part of the entire school year! Mine is always procrastinated too, but of course, always done. I know that if I can get it done, you can, AND you'll do an excellent job at it, I'm sure! Just keep truckin! And good luck!

I just hate how it was pretty much done and I mean a one revision away from being turned in and she doesn't want me to elaborate or clarify, she wants me to start all over again. And for the past month I thought that my paper was perfectly fine. Its going to take a miracle for me to cram two months of work into a few hours.

*hug* Yeah I know what that's like. Many a time i've had to write a paper in a day or two with only one or two drafts. That's usually enough to knock me down to a B, or worse. But that's usually because I procrastinated so I can only blame myself. Did she give a reason for rejecting your ENTIRE paper so close to the deadline? It might not hurt to at least request an extension in light of that fact.

Let me tell you a little background information about my teacher, she's a feminist and her opinions are they only ones that matter. I took a good look at my paper and considered the comments she made to me and I've concluded that she disagrees with my thesis because she took the feminist approach to the novel. She pretty much told me what was going to happen before I read the book and when I did read it I focused more on the literary and thematic aspects of it. I wasn't trying to justify the argument against her point of view; I just had an opinion that wasn't her's. She pretty much advised me to take a completely different approach to the novel and use my content in a different way ( ... )

I've heard of teachers who reject the opinions of their students but I really havent run across anything so ridiculous. The closest I got was a teacher who was really annoyed that I wanted to do a book report on a book that was waaaaay outside what we were covering in class but she ended up letting me do it. However, in return I think she gave me a C or something in that neighborhood. Send your paper to Prohibitoid@gmail.com, i'm definitely interested in reading it.
