Hey fag. Its a terrible world we live in. If kids would rather watch music videos and the OC than the news let them. If they want to vapid mainstream radio rock, I say more power to them. You're basically condemning people for leading their lives in the manner which makes them happy. Is it really wrong to be happy and ignorant instead of socially concious and miserable? Human beings don't get a very long time on this planet, and sitting around bitching about things you admit they can't change seems to me like a rather selfish command. Not everybody wants to be a mopey psuedo intellectual. Leave the masses be.
