Despite the promotion of the introduction of hybrid vehicles to the American economy, some automotive specialists do not advocate for their production. This passed Saturday, at the National Automobile Dealers association in New Orleans, a speech given by the Chief Executive of the Nissan Motor Company explained his point of view on manufacturing hybrids. In Chief Executive Carlos Ghosn’s speech he emphasized that the high cost of producing hybrids and their low value renders them pointless, in his opinion. He mentioned that only a small percentage of vehicles sold in the past year were hybrid cars.
Although the Nissan Motor Company will begin the production of a hybrid version of the Altima Sedan in the next few years, Ghosn explained that it is only to compromise with strict fuel economy standards in states like California and to benefit one of Japans largest automotive companies. In contrast, many other companies continue to sell hybrid models and are planning to increase production and introduce more models to the automotive market. Ghosn supported his views by expressing that cost to build fuel cell cars would have to be reduced drastically in order to do well in the market. In general, Ghosn’s speech will most likely outrage environmentalist groups and show that some automotive manufacturing companies will not risk the transition into hybrid vehicles despite the economic and environmental conditions of the world today.

That bothers me.

New schedule, sucks a lot. On white days, Gym first which isn't too bad and then study hall with Mayne(if its spelled wrong I don't care because I hate him). There are about 20 people in my study hall that I know but I can't even talk to any of them because I have an assigned seat. I have to sit in one spot for an hour and a half?! Booo! I'm just glad that Serina is at my table because we can goof-off. She's a nice girl. I'm glad that most of the teaching meetings and trips to the elementary school for natural Helpers will be this period.
I miss web publishing so badly! My midterm grade was a 100 and my site looked totally spank. Mrs. D said that she would have liked to publish it if I had finished. I'm actually proud of something I made in a computer class, suck on that technology!
As for my study hall, I want to see if can switch out into something like an art class or even keyboarding 1. Anything that doesn't require a lot of work. I was thinking to take social psychology but I think I have to be a junior. Or maybe that fashion class. Jake said he did nothing in it last year and it wouldn't hurt if I properly learned how to sew. I've been working on another skirt and it looks good, I just have to put in a lining and what ever else I want to do with it. It will look tres jolie, unlike the last one; I blame a clash in material. I also need to have the sewing machine fixed but I really don't need it nor know how to use it. Speaking of sewing, I LOVE PROJECT RUNWAY!!!

Brendon was singing some dirty song in French a few days ago and I can't get his voice out of my head. I don't even understand what he's saying.

I was absolutely blown away by "The Phantom of the Opera". I want to see it again. Back in October, while looking for my Monica Lewinski costume(ha!), I bought the original cast recording on cassette for a dollar. I was so excited but it turned out to be only the the first act. I'm missing the second act! The world is now unbalanced! Think of my chi! I might just buy the soundtrack on amazon but I have to decide between the original cat or the movie. I liked them both but I would expect that the recent recording would be more like a soundtrack instead of an actual cast recording.
While I was watching the movie, I remembered the day that Gail and Cory were discussing her obsession with the phantom and I kept thinking of Gail yelling, "I WANNA FUCK PHANTOM!!!". Honestly, I think the actor in the movie was a better phantom that the original actor but he isn't the right age. Nevertheless, I thought Raoul was dashingly handsome, never mind the phantom!

Driver's ed end this Thursday. Tomorrow I have two big tests, wish me luck. I love Mr. Moran, he's one cool dude. As soon as driver's ed it over I have to leave for a fieldtrip to Exeter. Its a camping sort of leadership program like Alton Jones but in a different place and this time I'll remember my sleeping bag! Kailee asked me to go because of her vision problem. She's so sweet, I love her. I really hope that it doesn't snow too much because I don't have shoes for hiking in the woods in the snow. By the time I get back from it I'll miss my last track meet. I haven't been able to go to the past three meets I think and this one is for the divisional! Divisional champs four years in a row, will it be five? Bleh, the chaos! Go Team!

Enderwiggin49: Hear about the Pope?
No, Brian, I didn't hear anything about the Pope. Now I'm going to be wondering until you tell me what happened!
