I've discovered an enforcer stationed in my office.

She's the director of the local resource agency that shares an office with my federal agency. I guess she's threatened by me or something, because last weekend she apparently decided to go for a drive in the country, and just happened to wander 30 miles up Mines Road and drive by my house, where ( Read more... )

WTF? Seriously? Maybe just out of the blue, you should give her a purple scarf. Fucking with people while being very very nice to them is one of the greatest pleasures I know.

I was just thinking earlier... God I hope they fire you over this. Talk about a meal ticket.

Ya know, large bureaucratic agencies tend to have lots and lots of Rules about workplace this and that, and to define "harassment" very broadly...creating a hostile work environment is one definition. I think proselytizing you and driving by your HOUSE and talking to your boss about you qualifies. Seriously...the drive-by thing is creepy, and points to her having some kind of Agenda beyond painting the universe beige.

I do like the purple scarf gift suggestion. A purple scarf with dragons.

Yeah! Give her a purple scarf w/ dragons on it the same day you file a harassment claim against her. Mwa-ha-ha-ha-aaa!

Especially since it's basically impossible to get that far up Mines Road casually. The several miles where it's one lane along the top of a cliff tends to discourage casual poking about.

It is pretty icky. I should probably have said though, that she used to live out where I live, and so has ostensibly SOME slight reason for driving out there other than just to snoop on me. But still.

People in my office refer to her as Professor Umbridge behind her back. I'm starting to see why. X-P

honestly, that's creepy on her part. i can't see how she's not in violation of something by doing that.
