time is ridiculous.
To be quite honest, reading through my entries made me feel really old. And embarrassed. It's crazy how much time has passed and how much I have grown as a person and learned about life and the world. I doubt anyone will see this but..
...when I first posted an entry on livejournal,
-I graduated from high school
-I'm now in college, a SECOND YEAR...what?!
-I made amazing friendships, reconnecting with a few old buddies =]
-I lived through a crazy election season (with the first black man, & woman running for president, and old man with a VP pick who scared me)
which amazingly led to the election of:
-BARACK OBAMA and the introduction of the amazing OBAMA family.
-Bush will be out soon. (kudos to the shoe thrower, though i have to admit, i was a bit shocked)
-We now might have a chance with this future
-Well, at least until 2012.
-The dark knight came out, finally.
-The pirates trilogy ended, finally.
-Coldplay came out with an album Laura actually liked.
-I never have to take another math class ever again, finally!!!
-I do research...I know right?
-Russia almost started a war.
-Darfur still needs the help it isn't getting (but we shall see with Obama =])
-So does New Orleans.
-There was a huge tsunami in S.E. Asia which killed millions of people.
-Saddam Hussein was hung.
-The Ice Caps were and are still melting.
-India had a terrorist attack.
-They cancelled Girlfriends!!! =[
-Heath Ledger died. =[
-I'm became anthro major and will soon be a broke anthropologist.
-Palin will still be shooting wolves from helicopters.
-Our economy is now fucccccccccked.
-I still like Angelina better.
-Pirates have come back! ...in Somalia...just not as cool as the OG's.
