I downloaded it from poulpette but I'm thinking of changing the header. It's very... shippy. I need platonic love!

I'm only considering changing it... It's not some kiss scene, it's platonic, but with all those ShWeir fans running around, I don't want to get hurt! They truly are strange people! Besides which, I don't think I could make a header as pretty as that.

I'm sure the Sparky fans would say the same about the Sheyla ones... me I don't care. Any pairing is good (or almost, I'm like everybody I have my squirks) 'till the fans don't go all "mine is the only one good" on me (that makes me go all O.ô after XP). Anyway my point was (because I had one when I started *grins*) don't bother with the idiots that might take offense, do what you like and I'm happy I'm not a shipper (but this is just a point for me not for you... nervermind me please?).

My icon muse is capricious... she's only working when she sees something shiny. Usually I must have a spark to start with... it's why I don't do much of them. That and I'm kinda obsessed with my latest batch with the kinda painty City and am planning another layout using it, more like the one I'm currently using but not quite. But anyway, *beams* thanks! Ego is happy now ~_^

I'm only a small fan of Sheyla because I think it would be magical to have a kid with both Ancient and Wraith genes. Just picture it! Chair on, chair explode! ShWeir only bothers me because of Weir's characterization/ lack thereof in the show. I don't want her paired with anyone until she's real! But I understand Sparky, it's almost shoved down everyones throats really. I'm not a huge shipper either- but think of the exploding chair!

Animation: got a friend who only has paint, but is very creative, whom I make big icons for. (Like Steve's logic!)

Ego is very healthy to have. As for muse- that's what icon challenges are for! Or... chatting with Stargate fan friends who are funnier than you for inspiration.

As for the ranting- I love it! (The only reason I didn't respond immediately is I ran away for supper and some TV!) I ranted too, so obviously it is at least tolerated or better. (Better!)

LJ can be a wonderful place! Everyone here (that I've talked to) is extremely nice about everything. Plus- you get to show off your work (like your great layouts!) which people don't ordinarily see. Great environment, eh? Too bad I can't convince everyone IRL to get one.

Sorry for the lack of hello's. I've been crappily sick with a crappy flu, have just started back at uni, and am busily packing. lol.

Am loving your icons, damn you! And I demand you do a tute for your animations. It doesn't matter how hard I try I never get the hang of it. lol.

I should go about making more icons, but I'm loving the firefly challenge community I'm in at the moment, so other icons are not forming in my brain. :(

Anyway, loving the many pretties muchly.

As for the being sick and being a good student, don't expect me to get angry over that. (Maybe just a bit sad you hadn't been showing around, but now that I know the reason- I know I haven't been ignored.) Get better soon!

Firefly=love. Personally, Stargate=more love, but every once in a while it's nice to take a break. Just post the ff icons, because I'll likely love them too!

As for the animation... *sheepish grin* I'm only just figuring it out myself by playing around, so I'd probably teach you how to do things a very roundabout way. It also depends on what program you yourself are doing.

Yes, Stargate is much love, but I'm not entered in any stargate challenges. LOL!

You would still know more about animation than I do. lol. I can't even figure out where to make the icon's layers or anything...I'm a bit thick headed at the moment. lol.

It seems that every... part of the animation, or individual icon for lack of a better word, should be flattened. This is because I can only animate when there is all of the icons, appearing as layers, in every icon. You can't delete them, but you can click on the eyeball/ make it not visible for that icon.

Did that make any sense? It's not being thick headed, it's just not user-friendly for us n00bs. V_V
