I've recently become lactose-intolerant, and miss my milk-and-sugar tea fix, so this looks interesting to me, minus the dry milk, obviously. Glad you found something tasty!

Tried it. I agree that one teaspoon is a little thin. I cut the cardamon in half - fresh ground it was just too overpowering for the other spices (although... next time I think I'm going to make a 'spice sachet' since I ended up having to strain all the ground-bits out). So I modified your recipe by reducing the cardamon and then added a teaspoon of orange peel to it just because it was in my spice box. Used Stevia, which was a pain the patoot to convert but oh-so-worth it. One completed cup of tea, according to my calculations = 3g carb, 20 calories.

I think I'm going to try using condensed milk next time, to see what happens. And, since I have it already now, I'd like to see what would happen if the dry ingredients were made up and then just added to the tea as it is steeping. That would be handier for camping.
