I will never forget hearing stories and seeing pictures of Koreans guarding their property and businesses from rooftops, holding mean-looking assault weapons. They were not "spraying from the hip." They were not firing at all. They only stood there, and the rioters passed by. That's all it took.

I define an "assault rifle" as a firearm that is capable of shooting 'X' rounds in 'Y' amount of time.

I do not know exactly what X and Y should be, but I am willing to let someone with a reasonable amount of common sense define it in such terms rather than accept the current definition of an assault rifle, which as you point out, is total bullshit.

Of course, I believe that all guns should be legal along with any other weapon that anyone has their heart set on owning. Except for criminals and very stupid people and so on.

Obviously, my point of view is not very popular.
