How long ago did you pick up the G35? 2200 rounds is a solid effort. You've definitely been bit by the bug.
Regarding the Federal AE stuff, I have found it to be inconsistent. I've had more fails to fire with it than any other ammo, incl. my own handloads. Seeing the bullet in backwards is a bit shocking though, I've never seen THAT before. I've heard of reports of primers in backwards or sideways (crushed) too. I am wondering what would have happened if that round had chambered/fired. I'm guessing it would've been less catastrophic than one might think, although I've been known to be wrong. I'm not going to test anything like that though. ;)
Duder, if you buy the Dillon 650, it is SO. NOT. MY. FAULT. Good news though is that you'll shoot a whole lot more...
And yeah, you GOTS to get the timer. It'll open your eyes to a whole new world of fun and games. Plus after practicing with it a lot you'll have this Pavlovian want to jerk out a gun and shoot every time you hear a buzzer....
