I have found kydex sheet in reasonable quantities available for sale on the Internet for $6 sq/ft at McMaster-Carr. Simply search for "kydex". It is available in a rainbow of colors, provided that one has monochromatic vision and one's rainbow consists of black, gray, and white. You making your own holsters? What thickness are you going for?

Actually, I'm making a drop and offset belt loop attachment for my Uncle Mike's Kydex belt loop holster, for two reasons. I am going to exploit the USPSA rules as much as possible to get the gun down and out for faster draws. Also, I found a cheap 2.250" duty belt off of ebay for something like $15 with shipping. I'd like to use that for production and the UM holster won't fit a 2.250" belt.

I may also make some other things, like my own custom holster, but that would require some mold making, which isn't really a big deal.
