i love CPF, have several spiffy toys.

a neato 2 C/D maglite hack - a certain radio shack bulb for $2, and 3 cr123 batteries in a tube, overdriving a 8ish volt bulb at 9ish volt, the batteries self regulate to a point == VERY bright light for cheap. works quite well. not as nice as a tiger light, but < $5? sure :)
