I wanted to do something seasonal. I love patterns, me free hand with a steak knife....not so pretty!

I love the leaves! I carved pumpkins last night with a group of math kids--it was a lot of fun. This year I did a spider, but after seeing all the jack-o-lanterns I decided I need to do one with a face. So on the way home last night Nic, Joe and I rolled back and stole two pumpkins from outside of safeway. I'm going to ditch tutoring from 2-3 today to carve them with my friend Pat Brown.
