A quiet night "in"

I was supposed to go out to the Eagle tonight because Paul's roommate is in some kind of "leather contest". But I found out that Paul isn't going, so as far as I know there won't be any people there at all other than his roommate, who I don't actually know well and who will be busy doing whatever it is that leather contestants do. So I decided to ( Read more... )

Big Lots in Penn Hills has some very nice not Christian based cards. Most of them are "Peace to you in this holiday season" or something like that. I picked up 3 boxes the other day. If you have a store near you, you may want to check it out.

Hey- just wanted to say hi- I 'friended' you. We met at Brushwood at the beginning of Starwood- I was leaving and you were just getting there, you commented on a pagan from Pittsburgh. I live in Plum, too, not far from Penn Hills. (assuming you live near Penn Hills from your comment.)

That pretty much describes out weekends too. Scott actually likes it that way, he's not a very social person. On Sunnaniht he watches his Britcoms; Keeping Up Appearances, Are You Being Served and As Time Goes By. That's all they seem to show here. At home we had more variety.

This weekend Sassafras Grove is having a Bardic Circle, but I don't know how well attended that's going to be because there's also some ADF women's thing going on. I'll probably go anyway just to get out of the house. For the past four years my social life has consisted primarily of trips to Shop & Save and Wal-Mart.
