My first batch of icons for 2008, as promised! I hope you all like them - I had so much fun with this lot! Please comment/credit if you take any, no altering of icons in any way, x-posted all over the place so sorry for the mailbox spamming, f-list. Feedback is welcome and appreciated!

Wow!! These are GREAT!!

I love the Draco ones, but they're all very well done. Your cropping and compositions are quite unique it's actually refreshing to see something not exactly centered, etc. ^.^

Aww thanks for the wonderful comment! As a matter of fact, I don't quite like things to be quite centred, although there's definitely an aesthetic to that itself. I love making icons! It's the only time besides being in school that I can go a little crazy with perspectives and such, and I have to admit it's made so much simpler with the various graphic programmes for computers out there! (:

The houses ones are really cool. Also the first dramione icon is really clever. I'm not sure whether this was the aim (probably was just I didn't think of it) but it looks like Draco has been placed to almost look as if he's just part of hermione's robes, if you don't look too hard.....:S Kind of like there's a little bit of evil in her.....Might be wrong, may have been drinking! :S

OH LOL! Your comment is delightful! *giggles madly* But hey you're totally right, y'know! I love playing with layerings and transparencies in my images, so I suppose the idea that you mentioned might have been influenced by that, and also in my opinion, I think that if pushed in the right direction, Hermione can be evil and brilliantly dark! Oh well, that's my angstyDramione!person talking! But THANKS so much for pointing that one out - very fresh perspective!!!
