If I didn't have to go to work, I'd cry, really you angst so beautifully, and I'm a Happy-ending girl! Ezra is in such a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation, and I'm not sure I trust Elizabeth. When's the ending, I'm in suspense!

Thank you! *hands hankie* Poor Ezra, he really gets the fuzzy end of the lollipop, though if I end up writing the sequel, it will end happier. Resolve a few issues, but still be a bit angsty. Elizabeth once upon a time had a much larger role in this, but since I figured I wanted to actually finish the story, I had to tone her out quite a bit. But there is history between them. A lot of history. Maybe I'll write a prequel one day. Hmmm....

Another great chapter, I know. Some awesome changes where made, they really helped the flow along.

I found a few [] left in, lol. "certain portions of his team[']s endeavors." and "finding out information [by himself]." last one "into the others] eyes"

Oh this is just so sad; Ezra is giving up his family/team to make sure they will be safe from the mole and this kind of mistrust is so hard to fix. Chris taking out his anger and frustration on Ezra will haunt him; especially when Chris remembers how forceful he took Ezra. I have a very bad feeling about Lizzie and at least Ezra seems to care about the innocents; she really doesn't and you conveyed that in just a few sentences. This is heading to a very sad ending; I am looking forward to it. Thanks for posting this.

I always thought he had a nobility that he worked on hiding, and yes, Chris will definitely be facing his demons, plus, there's the whole rumors thing which could have always been something...completely different than Ezra had thought. Or could have been right on. LOL

Lizzie. Lizzie cares about the things in her own little world. She's not bad, she just doesn't care so much about the things beyond her control. Though she does care about Ezra. And I can't say too much since you haven't read the last chapter. So I will just stand over there *points to the corner* and hide. :D

The last chapter was wonderful, very sad but a great read. Lizzie does improve in the next part and she does care about Ezra at least. Glad to see her so mad at Chris.
