wellll, by "watched" I mean "fast-forwarded through everything but Brittany/Santana and Burt", oh I do love that tumblr pre-screens shows and gifs the relevant bits for me so quickly.

pretty cool that our girlfriends are such good friends, right? )

television, glee, reviews

Didn't Brittany want to talk about her feelings at one point and Santana shut her down? I don't remember this show that well because tbh, I need selective amnesia to keep my head from exploding at all the fail, but I recall a scene where Santana was really harsh and dismissed Brittany's feelings and I was all >_But I guess that feeds into this thing that she's afraid and insecure and doesn't know how to deal with her love for Brittany. It's just I wonder where that revelation and this sudden confession comes from, after all the eps with Brittany/Artie (wow, you hate him? I don't really have strong feelings either way, except that their relationship kinda grosses me out at times) and Santana/any boy that she wants ( ... )

I watched the opening scene with Rachel as the president of the celibacy club (WHY DID THEY RUIN RACHEL SO MUCH? Seriously, I had such high hopes for this show when she came out with "Girls want sex just as much as guys do", but NO. Argh), so, yes, then I just fast-forwarded to the girls.

But, yes, Naya needs to get on a better show. Preferably where she's in a similarly adorable lesbian couple.

I did watch the Blaine bisexuality episode, because Blaine/Rachel intrigued me, and seriously, so much rage. Be glad you missed it.

I stopped watching Glee last season and am very proud of myself. But this recap kind of makes me want to watch this episode. And Naya is a beautiful singer, I do remember that.

I recommend Pretty Little Liars for canon teen lesbians and that is what I will think of while I DON'T GET SUCKED BACK IN TO GLEE.

PLL is FANTASTIC. I mean I've long since stopped trying to make sense of the main plot, but my goodness, EMILY. I could write a love screed to Emily and her very logical, very well-done-for-this-show character growth and how they've portrayed her relationships with girls, herself, her friends. It's just been kind of wonderful on so many levels and I'm remiss for not posting about it.

I only discovered it a few weeks ago and I was like: HOW DID THE INTERNET KEEP THIS FROM ME FOR SO LONG!

I have been really pleased with how they've handled Emily's plotlines and seriously some of the best teen lesbianism I've seen on TV. It isn't too overly dramatic like it was on Skins or such, it has just become part of who she is, and I love that!
