THINGIES IN MY EYEBALLS:
+ Saw Thor this weekend and I'm in love. I mean, there's stuff I could say about the storytelling and whatnot, but mostly I LOVE THOR. THOR IS A FLUFFY BUNNY. I have such a kink for cuddly superheros with storyarcs that are about being wise and kind and sweet, and also punching stuff. And who kiss Jane's fingers and make

You will love marathoning the good wife! That's what I did with season 1.

I love all the women on that show. Hoping Janette ends up staying, and LaDonna broke my heart into pieces this week. And here I thought Khandi Alexander should've been nominated for an Emmy for LAST season...

Yeah, Doctor Who started S6 and there's only going to be six eps with the last six to air later this year sometime--hopefully not in a way that conflicts with Merlin. *side-eye*

Oh, man, TVD. I am SO behind, but I get snippets of info and I hear Damon has transformed into MEGA ASSHOLE™. FOR LOVE, or whatever his warped view of love is. I dunno. I'm gonna go back and watch it all on DVD, hopefully I don't have a fucking rage stroke while watching...

Haha Damon's antics are worse than ever--I think what keeps me watching anyway is that I think we're SUPPOSED to think he's the worst. The problem with that is the writers keep treading this fine line and trying to please the Damon and Damon/Elena fanbase at the same time, so we get this yo-yo action wherein he does terrible things and other characters acknowledge them as terrible, but then they invent plotlines that are supposed to make us care whether he lives or dies. Or have Damon and Elena Look at each other a lot whilst writing this flawless Stefan/Elena arc at the same time. And just a lot of self-undermining writing decisions that just feel like weak storytelling to me.
And don't get me started on my mixed joys and pains concerning various of the supporting characters and their storylines. It's still one of the better vampire shows out there though.
