WE had a very nice Christmas here in NY - actually, better than what I had imagined. I was a bit disappointed about not being able to have Christmas with my parents again this year, but there was no way that we could swing it with my new job. Size 3x??? Good grief! I don't know how your mom could have been that off! Is her eyesight ok to see the labels? Maybe it was shelved with the smaller stuff? So sorry! Congrats on the other loot though! :)

Sounds like a nice little Christmas! I'm so glad! We have a tabletop tree too, and I like it. Since we travel to the grandparents 2 of 3 years, it works well.

I think, knowing my mother, she was trying to give me a "subtle" hint. I've tried not to obsess too much, but it still baffles me that she would pick that size. I'm smaller around than she is, and she certainly doesn't take that size!

I love my little icon, too. He somehow seemed appropriate.
