Development Update

I haven't posted in awhile (again), but wanted to do a little development update on Xander for posterity. He turned 4 months last week, and is, generally, a very happy and engaging baby. We are still struggling big time with his sleep (we CANNOT get him to sleep in his crib) and I feel guilty and exhausted from sleeping with him on the couch. ( Read more... )

That's great that you're able to fully BFAR! Things have been better with Noellyn, but I don't think I'll ever get up to 100%....maybe if I have a third?

I am still kind of in awe that I don't have to supplement this time around. I was so prepared to need to supplement, or to fully FF like I had to with Nathan. It sounds like things are going much better for you - and how wonderful that you live so close to a milk bank. I had never realized until I read your post the other day that they don't accept milk from moms who are feeding their babies solid food. Keep up the awesome job, mama!

Though we got some from the milkbank when she was brand new, we don't get it from the milkbank anymore. It's $3.50 an ounce, plus you need a prescription and insurance doesn't cover it. So we're milksharing now.
