Okay, so I've finally been convinced to sign up...not sure how much writing I'll do, but I'll give it a shot.

I'll write more later when I have time to come back and try to figure things out...and when I'm not at work :)

Hi!

You might like to check out posting using clients, communities and setting your default security to friends :) Filters can be handy as well (you, for example, are on my AN, Work, Baby and Real People filters, but not my UK one).

Thanks for the tips. I figured out some of the security stuff after I posted that first message, but I wanted to get something posted so I could kind of play with things and figure out what else I needed to do. It's going to take me awhile to mess with the rest of it...it's not coming across at all as intuitive to me.

Nah, me neither, but eventually it just works. For me, out of sheer repetition. Even then, I often blank on people's exact user names which makes tags impossible, and can never remember the code for putting links behind a single word/phrase... I usually put URLs up as is, with a http:// so it shows up as a link. I'm lazy that way, but it works. :-)
