Heather: That is just beautiful! Is it a peony? You got all the little details, the frilly edges, etc. It would make a great painting.

Thank you. It is actually a Rose of Sharon - the way the petals folded in the breeze it does look like peony. I am thinking of a painting with this as reference :)

That would make a beautiful painting! Now that you say it's a Rose of Sharon, I can see it. Sort of does have a hint of peony about it though. I like Rose of Sharon too.
