New Sci-Fi Show: Falling Skies on TNT
After watching the first two hours I like Falling Skies. Noah Wyle is a great actor, I'm seeing a resemblance to LOST's Sawyer Ford in the Pope character, and I'm most intrigued by Jimmy, the 13-year-old who is inexplicably part of the army (orphan?)- hope we get his backstory. The element that didn't work for me was the "love triangle" dynamic they seem to be going for with Tom's son Hal- haven't we had enough teenage love triangles to last a lifetime? Give us more aliens, because I was genuinely jumping out of my seat during the scene where Tom's team is ambushed by Mechs while looking for food.
Bottom line: angsty beardy soldier-professor Noah Wyle!
