I keep re-reading and getting so upset on your behalf. I wrote out a little rant about her behavior- but. That is not helpful. Just remember I love you. I'm always in your corner.
This (and the prior behavior that she mentions) is a reflection of your mother and her daemons, and not you or your behavior. I'm sure you know that cognitively, but I hope hearing it acknowledged from someone else helps you feel it too.

Over the last year, I've felt the need to up the frequency of calls to my mom to almost daily. I can't tell you how often I've been on the phone listening to her tell me what she bought at the grocery store or which errands she did that day and thought about one of your posts -- I can't remember exactly the words you used, but it was something similar, how you call your mom and listen to her prattle at you because that's what you do and you love her. You're a good daughter. I'm sorry your mom is having a hard time and sending these kinds of messages. They'd annoy the shit out of me, too! I hope you guys can get to a place where the frequency of your calls is satisfactory to her. 💛
