I must have missed the memo that Valentine's day is the new St. Patrick's day. You have to wear red. From head to toe. With as many shiny or sparkly accessories as possible. Preferably heart shaped accessories that blink or play songs.

I'm so uncool.

Just the mental picture of that is giving me a headache.

Pinched.

For not wearing red.

Oh HELL no. That's a good way to get another St. Valentine's Day Massacre going.

Oh my god. Seriously? I would have punched that person someplace ouchy. Twice.

I inadvertently ended up wearing red today, but only because that top was clean and the least wrinkled one nearest my bed.

Lemme guess--this was at work? I think it's an "anyone but art teachers" thing...my English teachers especially were all always really into the cutesy stuff, with the room-decorating and holiday lapel pins and the cupcakes.

But then, I dealt with it. After all, I am always up for cupcakes. ;)

Let's be uncool together for the next year's V day love_lane February 17 2006, 02:25:24 UTC
I wore black sweat pants with champaigne colored t-shirt that read "Nashville" in blue. however, in my modern dance class, i saw that almost everyone had something pink, and one of them actually had black socks that had little pink hearts. WHO the heck decided that it was pink day? i almost felt obligated to dress by the mood. well, not that i'm a v-day hater, but i'm just sayin'!
