My brother annoys me SO MUCH over the holidays. He's so damn selfish and antisocial. Heaven forbid my mother ask him to help with ANY of the zillions of tasks that need to be done in order for the family to have a nice celebration THAT WE *ALL* ENJOY!!! Good. I'm glad someone else agrees with me. I'm so tempted to let him have it...but he'll get all moody and be a brat over dinner. I don't want to ruin that.

I'll probably talk to him about later - after Christmas. Although, I don't know that it would change anything. And it may be too late as far as spending a holiday with my mom. I'm pretty sure this is her last.

And you're right--it's absolutely, INCREDIBLY selfish that he can't do what someone *else* needs for him to do, even just this once...especially with your mom being so sick and all. It's not really surprising, given the other things you have told me about him, but it is disappointing. I'm sorry to hear that your mom didn't have the best holiday that she could have. You're totally sweet to have helped out so much.
