Well, after much deliberation, I decided to take the elementary job. I'm really excited,and also quite nervous. It's a school with a pretty high population of Spanish speakers, so I need to brush up on my Spanish skills. I'm not really sure of the best way to do that, but whatever

My GOD, that update was MASSIVE!

First of all: the Confederacy had an Air Force?! Second, don't discount the importance of the yaddayaddayadda, without it the dobedobedo would buhbeboo, and everyone would "AAAAAAHHHH!"

Confederate as in an alliance...not as in civil war. The confederate AF, also known as the Comemorate AF, is an alliance of several different groups whose main goal is to preserve at least one of every type of plane used in combat. It was originally WWII planes, but has expanded to Korea and Vietnam.

I was in Abilene a couple of weeks ago after my grandmother's funeral. I thought the new sculpture was pretty fantastic. Nice to have some things on campus that aren't for any practical purpose--just to make the place more itself.
