I didn't mean to but I broke protocol on Saturday. I know it sounds like an excuse but I've never been around this person for almost seven years and it didn't dawn on me to ask to hug him. Granted someone should have said something to me I would not have been upset to be corrected. Its hard to break old habits. I guess not knowing there protocol is

everyone makes mistakes and i think we tend to be harder on ourselves about them than anyone else would be

for me these things are always a good reminder of how to manage breaches of protocal when they happen to me

usually it is a lack of clear understanding and a good opportunity for learning

wow, it wasn't the hug at all. geez, I'm not unreasonable. I did say something to you. It was what I mentioned to you right before you left. My words were, "you don't get to do that anymore." and you responded with, "I know, thats why I didn't _____." That by itself wouldn't have been so bad, except someone else saw that and apparently took it as permission for other inappropriate behavior. I may be at the munch tonight. If so, we can talk then and clear it up. I wouldn't worry about it very much . .

ok. I felt so bad. I didn't even think to ask. I will remember from now on though. thank you for clearing itt up for me. I'm usually a good girl, sometimes I don't think about it. Most of my upset was due to that. Thank you and I do hope to see you this evening. and some times people do take things for granted b/c we all know each other. It seems to vbe a community thing.
