Rejoice! I found my camera cord while cleaning our room, so now, be prepared for photos of my DIY projects, aka my all-consuming life at the moment!

I did a trial run of my bouquet last night! I picked up some dogwood branches and wilty, sad-looking ranunculus at the grocery store while I was depositing my paycheck last night, and like any good DIY-er, I had floral tape, floral wire, floral pins, and wide ribbon at home.

What do you think? It will be an arm bouquet, of course, I won't be smacking people in the face with this puppy. Also, I am not too particular about the species of white flower I use--I am hoping to just take a trip to the farmer's market the morning before the wedding and see what I can find. Failing that, it'll be back to the grocery store.

I lifted the idea of a twig-bouquet from a magazine, but I forget which one. Maybe Modern Bride?

This morning, my bouquet was already wilty, so I used it to display my paper flowers. I plan to use these in my centerpieces at the reception, probably on birch branches. I think I need thicker paper, though. This idea came from here.

Paper ornaments! I am making 50 of these and hanging them around the reception hall at varying heights! I am half-done so far. This idea is from here, but I like mine better. ;)

The tutorial for these paper carnations was posted on WeddingBee at one point, and the one for this pile of stickies that will become paper chains is from A $10,000 Wedding:

The bow styles in my boutonnieres and bridesmaids' gift boxes are from Martha Stewart Weddings:

These belong to, from left to right, fiance, best man, groomsman, father, and ring bearer.

A close-up on my fiance's.

Hailey is my flower girl. :)

Finally, the one and only project I have to share that is allllll me, I bought these tiny bottles (they hold 1 1/2 tsp) on eBay, glued tiny, handmade bows to each, and I am constructing miniature sand art kits as favors. Each person will receive a bottle, a paper funnel (I am making these, too), and a tsp each of two different colors of sand.
