This is Shirley, Heather’s sister. I hate to post this but Heather passed away today. We think she had an infection that weakened her heart and caused her to have a heart attack. Thank you all for being friends with Heather.

this is her real life boyfriend and i just ran across this page in my friends favorites list. i just watched a video tape that we found earlier and it had her on it. its been almost 7 months since she died and the video still made me cry. i had to leave the room. i guess i have avoided typing on her journal or even doing anything that would remind me. i still miss her a lot even after this much time has passed and i probably will for the rest of my life. we were together for almost 6 years and i loved her mor than whatever my puny existance is worth. Heather, wherever you may be i hope that you are truly happier than you were in life.. i love you baby

whoa, this news is quite shocking. i had no idea. i'm so sorry. i met heather on livejournal over a year ago while looking for other people in chairs. we didn't talk that often and after not seeing her update her journal for over 4 months or so, i figured she had just tired of posting and took her off my friends list. the strange thing is, i remembered being concerned that she abruptly stopped writing. for some reason, she popped into my head tonight. i'm so stunned. i know she was going thru a tough time with her self esteem and living situation (neighbors and such), and believe me when i say living this way is extremely tough. so while i know it must be hard living life without her, know that she's no longer suffering. she's walking and running and dancing again. something i can't wait to do. my prayers go out to her family and boyfriend.
