Hal's birthday is the first of June, and I wish I could just convince me to let her and three of her friends go to midevil times or something. I don't want to do a big party...
I know. I'm in the same place. I just want to go see a movie or play minigolf or something. But you never know in this town if it'll be sunny or snowing at the end of April. SUCKS.
I even looked into renting one of those bounce house places, but there are none by our house anymore, and I don't want to drive across town, because all her friends live close to me.
UGH. Maybe I'll just have them meet us at the park, serve cake and send them home with toys. The kids don't care it's always the moms who are judgmental. AHAHAHAH!
ARGH!YES! Why does it have to be that way? I actually did the park thing one year, and we did a Mexican (ALA Dora the Explorer) theme. I brought in like nachos, taquitos, etc. It turned out to be REALLY cool, and my kid had a blast!
