A few days ago, lemon-says wondered why her kids went to the ER more than her friends' kids. It all balances out in a karmic scale. My kids barf when they get colds. Curse you, post-nasal drip

Oh man, I hear you. My older daughter, Lily, was a champion projectile-vomiter in her babyhood and had strings of horrendous double-ear-infections with bronchiolitis. (You know those snowy days when you've got the sick kid in the car, dragging-ass to pediatrician and then to the one pharmacy in the tri-county area that rents nebulizers to fill prescriptions? With the sick kid throwing a tantrum inside the pharmacy? Yes, I was THAT MOM.)
FYI, regular antibiotics, ie amoxicillin, never worked on Lily's ear infections. It had to be Omnicef or that infection wasn't budging. My younger daughter responds to amoxicillin though. I don't get it.
And you just want to weep? Feel you. Subtract the snow, add in 38 degree rain.
Amelia had chronic ear infections as a toddler. She had to do Omnicef or the one that was a shot. Katie has only had one or two ear infections. So thankful.
s was good at motion sickness and has a long commute to school, so our car got it on a regular basis (and the school bus once or twice, yay). he's much better now. at home i make mine sleep on the couch covered in big beach towels when they are pukey. pull off the top layer and all set. if they won't blow, have you considered spiking their juice with wasabi powder?
i hope they are feeling better soon so mama can sleep through the night.
