i wanted to write some bullshit about how i've felt similar ways about people in my past and how i had that same razor sitting on my dresser in my room 10 years ago, and similar thoughts. i decided that was bullshit because i hate it when people decide that their words and their experiences can measure up to someone else's. i've had it done to me, and i don't want to do it to you. and i don't want to say there are other fish in the sea and when you're not looking for what you actually need it will come to you, because that's all bullshit, too.

blah blah blah.

i read this. it struck me. that's probably the least bullshit thing i could say.

Does it help if I didn't see the beer bottle, but that my eyes did sting a little in reading this? Even more confounding, I can't tell you exactly why.

That might be better, actually. Explanations are overrated.

You are unfair, Evan, and you don't even begin to realize how.

Continue, please.

My eyes stung a little when I read that your eyes stung a little. I'm not sure why either. Maybe I don't really want to make anyone cry.

I drove past a church where a wedding was taking place yesterday, and I silently wished that the marriage would fall apart. A minute later I found myself frantically taking that wish back.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I know I'm not exactly reply-tastic most of the time, but they are much appreciated, and often the highlight of my day.
